Thanks for sharing your story. I can relate, because I suffered with acne as a teen. It was horrible. In the end, I found that a product taken in tablet form that worked the best for me, and believe me, I tried them all.

So if you have oily skin, and don’t put moisturiser and put makeup on, that won’t make it worse?
Thanks for sharing your story. I can relate, because I suffered with acne as a teen. It was horrible. In the end, I found that natural cures worked the best for me, and I tried all kinds of pills and potions that weren’t suitable for my type of acne.

I ate only raw vegetables and fruit for five years and nothing else hoping it would manage my Acne, but no! it definitely didn’t do anything, I still had daily breakouts of severely inflamed nodules. I was then diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, that was the cause. Diet sometimes doesn’t make a difference especially if the Acne is hormonal.
Not if you have PCOS idiot! Spironolactone is the ONLY treatment for hormonal induced Acne in women, everything else will not work worth a damn and will be totally futile especially topical creams. 90% of women over the age of 25 who have Acne that’s seemingly untreatable with topical lotions and dietary changes without doubt have some form of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome whether they’re aware of it or not.
Retin-A gel CAN be prescribed by a normal GP – I got it from mine. It’s roaccutane that is dermatologist exclusive. But as long as you have acne, your GP will prescribe Retin-A if you ask them to. Antibiotics do work, but only while youre on them.

@crazyfool1824 Neutrogena On-The-Spot is the only widely available 2.5% benzoyl peroxide on store shelves. It is cream based, which is not ideal, but it should still work. It comes in small .75ounce tubes, so try to find it on sale and stock up big time. You’ll eventually be using lots of BP, so you’ll need many, many tubes.
I heard that the reason why people moisturize whether oily or dry is because if you don’t moisturize, your skin feels like it needs that moisture so it fills it with excess oil? I know it sounds kind of stupid but at the time, I was starting to make sense out of it.
I started to think that if moisturizer didn’t fill my pores, then oil will?
at around 5:37, i disagree because surely some acne treatments say you must only place on the effected areas and not on any skin which has no acne.
